Edit: Bump for the weekday folks.

Huuuge car show Saturday here in Seattle. Lots and lots of people, all kinds of cars and plenty of good times. Here are some photos I took.

Apologies for any low quality pictures, it was crowded and there was lots to see.

Muscle cars

A couple of early TVR's showed up

I wasn't really surprised, but there was a pretty big air-cooled VW presence at the show. We have plenty of hippies up here in the Northwest.

This thing was rad.

A couple of great wagons/shooting breaks were in attendance.

Cool little Datsun pickup truck

I believe this is an Aston Martin DB3.

Subaru!!!!! Impossibru!!!

Lots of just crazy stuff. Not the classiest, but awesome none the less.

Even less classy, yet somehow still awesome.

I dunno why. I love it though.

Weirdly, there was a MASSIVE Studebaker presence at the show. Tons and tons of Avantis.

I'm not even kidding, there were probably about 20 of them

Including a 4-Door!!

This guy though, wins for sheer crazyness. Yes. you do it sir. You do it to the max.

Yes. Gold on the inside too.

Foxbodies at both ends of the spectrum

The biggest, meanest engines of the day weren't mounted in cars however. Crazy hydroplanes because awesome i guess.

Rolls Royce engined hydroplane

Front engine, rear wheel drive, open top, V-24. What's not to love?

I may have drooled a little on this guy's T-Type.

175hp Honda powered Mini van.

I love both of these cars for the way their hoods flow around their headlights.

A nice looking 442 (probably just a Supreme convertible that been cloned because assholes do that) that has been ruined by poor wheel choice. I hate anything on these cars besides stock wheels. It just doesn't suit the car as well as the stock ones did.

that particular car was one of my top 5 at the show. Immaculate interior, 4 on the floor manual, just gorgeous. I would've taken more pictures but it was too crowded.

Honestly Buick had an amazing showing.

Actually, yes and no. It was raining so there's no orange peel, just rain droplets. That said, that car had an AWFULLY done rattle can job. Worst in the whole show. Literally I almost didn't photograph it because the paint was so bad. But then it had a big ass engine up there and I felt compelled to.

Yeah. It was a pretty bad choice. I just love me some Lincoln Continental. There was a much nicer one by my house a week or so ago. I had to take pictures of it from my apartment window hehehe. Love that green.

I normally don't mind rattle can jobs or just primer as long as it looks like you at least attempted to sand the damn thing.

Some cars are works in progress, but you can tell when they don't give a shit at all.

agreed. There were multiple primered cars there. Most of them were in the "that's fine, whatever" category. But that one was splotchy and uneven, doors were not universally the same shade of black and stuff. On the flip side, there's a chance he drove it all the way from Colorado, though a trailer is probably more likely!

I think that one was a no striper, but I could be wrong. Sadly, there was a lot to see (4-5 68-70 chargers) and it was crowded, so I didn't see the backs of a lot of cars.
